CAKE STORIES
Located in Jesmond, Cake Stories is a lovely small cafe that sells great food and delicious cakes, along with a variety of hot and cold drinks. We had the smoked salmon, cream cheese and avocado bagel and the camembert sharer, which were all fantastic, as were the iced teas. There was also a wide variety of different flavoured cakes, including gluten free options. They also box cakes up if you want to take any home. The cafe was inviting and quite cosy, so we would recommend going on a quiet day if you can, as we imagine it would be quite busy at weekends. The staff were also very friendly. Overall, we couldn’t fault it.
