Brinkburn Street is a small Byker based independent brewery which has a bar serving locally brewed beer and a kitchen. They also have a selection of speciality gins, rums, wines, coffees and soft drinks too. You can also try a range of cask and keg beers from The Steam Machine and Two by Two.
They kitchen serves delicious ‘Northeast-inspired Tapas’ and small plates from 12 - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm, prepared by their head chef and his team using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients including herbs and edible flowers grown in their garden. We loved the atmosphere and comfortable sofas by the fireplaces so we will definitely be going back to try something from the menu: the chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake looked amazing.
Look out for beer festivals, weekly board game sessions and crafty Tuesdays.
